DAY SERVICES MANAGER

BEAM Services started with just three adults with special needs, but
now provide a year-long day service to over sixty adults, drawn from
Bagenalstown, South Carlow, North Kilkenny & Wexford. In BEAM Services
we strongly believe that each individual?s needs are totally unique,
so the task of providing educational support is highly staff
intensive. BEAM Services has been providing housing for its members

WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR A DAY SERVICES MANAGER FOR **APPLY ON
THE WEBSITE** HOUR PER WEEK PLUS ON-CALL HOURS.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
* A level 8 qualification in Social Care / Social Studies / Health
Care or equivalent field is a requirement for this position
* A qualification in Leadership & Management or equivalent field
recognised by HIQA to manage a Day Support Service is required for
this position.
* Minimum of 3 years? experience in a Senior Management position
in the care and support of Adults with Intellectual Disabilities &/or
Autism and a genuine interest in this area is required.
* An extensive working knowledge &proven ability to interpret and
apply legislation such as New Directions, the National Standards for
Adults with Disabilities & the Health Act **Apply on the website**
* A working knowledge of liaising with multiple stakeholders in a
Social Care setting is required
* Applicants must have excellent communication skills & time
management skills and be highly motivated
* Excellent report writing and record keeping skills are required
* Full Clean Irish Driving Licence is essential
